Job summary

Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for an outpatient travel assignment in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The position supports 40 hours per week with a Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM schedule, in an outpatient facility.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate's degree in PTA, hold or be pursuing NC licensure, and maintain CPR certification. Start ASAP for a 13-week contract with per-diem stipend options and housing considerations.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's degree in PTA from an accredited program.
• Current state license as PTA or actively pursuing licensure in North Carolina.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled PT interventions under supervision of a PT.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient PTA services per physician orders.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans under PT supervision.
• Document patient progress and adapt care accordingly.
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered care environment.
