Job summary

Towne U.S. LLC is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for an inpatient rehabilitation assignment in Oberlin, Kansas. The PTA will implement individualized plans under supervision, helping patients regain mobility and independence in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates hold an active PTA license in the practicing state and have inpatient rehab experience. This travel role offers 40 hours per week and a supportive interdisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in practicing state.
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Team-oriented, fast-paced rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist patients with transfers, gait training, balance, strengthening, and endurance exercises.
• Provide care for patients with neurological, orthopedic, or medically complex conditions.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercise programs and safe mobility strategies.
• Accurately document treatment sessions and progress notes in EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including OT, SLP, nursing, and case management.
• Maintain productivity while ensuring patient-centered care.
