Job summary

Centra Healthcare Allied in Teague, TX is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment. The role requires flexibility, professional judgment and excellent patient care in a SNF/LTC setting.

You will work 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts, under supervision of a PT. Candidates must have an Associate degree, current PTA license (or in process), CPR certification, and be prepared to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must have earned an Associate's degree from an accredited school.
• Current state PTA license or in process of licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services under supervision per physician orders.
• Implement and adjust the treatment plan under PT supervision.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions per physician orders.
• Adjust treatment plans as directed by supervising PT.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists and support staff to ensure patient goals are met.
