Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment in Windsor, Virginia. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans that improve mobility and independence, document progress, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

The role requires a valid Virginia PTA license and current BLS certification. Preferred candidates include graduates of accredited PTA programs; new grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in the state of Virginia
• BLS certification is current
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program preferred but not required for all applicants

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans to improve mobility and independence
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety
• Collaborate with therapists and healthcare team to coordinate care
• Maintain safe treatment environment following infection control protocols
