American Traveler seeks an Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant with at least 1 year of PTA experience for a 13-week assignment at a neighborhood health outpatient clinic.

The role requires an active MA PTA license (if applicable) and CPR certification, with a typical 40-hour workweek. Local candidates are preferred, and travel rate applies to non-local applicants, with a schedule featuring 8:00am-4:30pm and 10:30am-7:00pm shifts across weekdays.

Qualifications

• Active MA PTA license required if applicable.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience required.
• Outpatient setting experience highly preferred, with 2+ years preferred.
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient physical therapy setting treating patients one at a time with 30-minute treatment sessions.
• Caseload of approximately 12-14 patients per day with a departmental productivity goal of 70%.
• Schedule rotates between 8:00am-4:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and 10:30am-7:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• 8-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week.
• Provide outpatient physical therapy treatments to patients as part of a clinical team.
• Scrubs or business casual attire acceptable.
• Local candidates accepted.
