Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Eureka, Illinois. This role is for 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, in a skilled nursing facility.

You will assist patients with mobility and function under a licensed Physical Therapist, with EHR documentation and support for geriatric rehabilitation. Travel benefits and housing options may be provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Client requires 5 days/week with 35 guaranteed hours for the assignment period.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients recovering from injury or illness with mobility and function under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Support rehabilitation activities in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• Document progress in the EMR as required by the facility.
• Collaborate with the PT and care team to optimize patient outcomes.
