Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-MSP is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel assignment in Norwalk, Connecticut. This 13-week contract offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and ASAP start.

The PTA will support licensed therapists by guiding patient participation, documenting progress, and promoting functional recovery in a SNF setting. Travel experience and active PTA licensure are required, along with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited school.
• Physical Therapist Assistant license / Licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.
• Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity.

Education
