Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-MSP is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join a travel assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The contract runs 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week, typically 5x8 shifts, and an ASAP start.

The PTA assists therapists, directs patient participation in therapeutic tasks, and helps restore function while facilitating the learning of essential skills for daily living. Day One Medical Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited school.
• Physical Therapist Assistant license / Licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.
• Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity.
