Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Purcell, Oklahoma. Start date is 10/19/2026, with a 40-hour work week on a daytime 8-hour shift, under PT supervision.

The PTA will provide evidence-based rehabilitative care, perform various procedures, assess progress, and maintain documentation while collaborating with the rehabilitation team and students. Travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ year PTA experience in LTC or rehab.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• New graduates considered if Level II experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments with the supervising PT.
• Report treatment outcomes to the supervising PT.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Document all regulatory and clinical information in the EMR and maintain records.
• Participate in patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
• Supervise students under the PT supervision.
• Adhere to APTA and state practice acts and ethics.
