Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Edison, New Jersey. Start ASAP, 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday in a travel setting.

The PTA will assist therapists, support patient participation, and help restore function. Requires an Associate's degree, PTA license in the state of practice, and current BLS certification. A tax-free stipend is offered for eligible expenses.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.
• Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity.
• Diminish or correct pathology and to promote and maintain health.
