Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Therapy in Holmdel, New Jersey is seeking a travel Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP. The position offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.

Responsibilities include assisting therapists to direct patient participation, helping patients relearn essential skills, and promoting health and functional improvement throughout the contract.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited school.
• Physical Therapist Assistant license / Licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance
• Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity
• Diminish or correct pathology and to promote and maintain health
