Job summary

Towne U.S. LLC is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Hackensack, New Jersey. You’ll work 40 hours weekly, 8-hour day shifts, under a licensed PT’s supervision to help patients regain mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Associate PTA degree from accredited program.
• Active PTA license or eligible in multiple states (licensing assistance available).
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred; new grads encouraged.
• Ability to adapt to new settings and patient populations.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized PT treatment plans.
• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress; report to supervising PT.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers on exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
• Maintain a safe and supportive therapy environment and assist with equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for comprehensive, patient-centered care.
