National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Meriden, Connecticut. The role supports Physical Therapists in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting, with a 40-hour week and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Start is ASAP, and the position offers Day One Medical Benefits. Applicants must have an Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program, an active PTA license in the state, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program is required.
• Active PTA license in the state of practice is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.
• Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity.
• Diminish or correct pathology and to promote and maintain health.
