Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel assignment in Jacksonville, Illinois. The role is 40 hours per week, with a 13‑week contract and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities include assisting Physical Therapists with patient participation, promoting restoration and independence, and supporting safety and quality of care. Required credentials: Associate’s degree, PTA license in the state, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited school.
• Physical Therapist Assistant license / Licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.
• Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity.
• Diminish or correct pathology and to promote and maintain health.
