Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Midland, Michigan. The role offers 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts scheduled during the day, and requires licensure in Michigan plus BLS certification.

As a member of our therapy team, you’ll evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility and reduce pain across hospital, clinic, and rehabilitation settings. Strong clinical skills and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Physical Therapy license in Michigan
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required
• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy preferred or required per role

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and body mechanics
• Maintain a safe clinical environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care
