American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility assignment in Worcester, MA.

The role requires 1+ year PT experience, MA licensure, and a 13-week, 40-hour per week schedule with days shift.

Qualifications

• MA state PT license required.
• 1+ year of PT experience required in LTC or rehab setting.
• New graduates accepted if Level II clinical experience completed (Level I observation not accepted).
• License required if applicable.
• One professional reference required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders.
• Develop and adjust individualized plans of care using standardized assessments.
• Administer treatments including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and use of assistive devices.
• Provide consultation and education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Communicate patient progress and treatment plans with supervisors and interdisciplinary team.
• Complete discharge summaries and maintain accurate treatment documentation in the EHR.
• Participate in facility meetings, trainings, and in-services.
• Supervise PT assistants, rehab aides, and/or students as needed.
• Adhere to APTA standards and state practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics.
• Maximum RTO request of 5-7 days depending on facility.
