Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Pittsburg, KS. You will provide patient-centered care in a hospital or clinic setting, evaluating mobility and impairment and implementing evidence-based rehabilitation plans to help patients regain independence.
The role offers 40 hours per week, daytime shifts, travel benefits, and comprehensive clinical support from Fusion Medical Staffing.
Qualificações
- Valid Physical Therapy license in Kansas (or state regulations)
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred
Responsabilidades
- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify functional limitations
- Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
- Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
- Operate and maintain PT equipment safely and effectively
- Document evaluations, interventions and outcomes in medical records
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses and therapists to ensure coordinated care
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management techniques
- Maintain safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols
- Support discharge planning for smooth transitions to home or community settings
- Perform other duties within the scope of practice
