Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Topeka, KS. Work 40 hours per week with a dayshift schedule in a hospital, clinic, or rehab setting. Start date is soon and you will join a supportive clinical team with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires a valid PT license and BLS certification; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. New grads are welcome, with opportunity for growth and licensure reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Maintain safe treatment environment adhering to infection control standards.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.
