Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Grand Island, NE. You will provide high-quality care in a dynamic travel setting, earning competitive pay and robust benefits while enjoying the opportunity to work with a dedicated clinical team.

Expect 40 hours weekly, days shift, with a start date of 09/28/2026. You will collaborate with a supportive clinical team and recruiter, enhancing your travel experience and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).
• New grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests, exams, and history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and calibrate devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and prevention strategies.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Participate in quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Support discharge planning for transitions to community or home settings.
