Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Kearney, NE. You will provide evaluations and evidence-based interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain in diverse settings including hospitals and clinics.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist with current state license
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ conditions using tests and history to identify needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation plans based on assessments and goals
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate PT equipment safely and maintain devices
• Document evaluations, interventions and outcomes in medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and therapists for coordinated care
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management
• Maintain safe treatment environment following infection control and safety standards
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development
• Assist with discharge planning for community or home-based care
