Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Longview, Texas. The PT will evaluate, develop, and execute plans of care for diverse patient populations in acute care settings, supervising support staff and interfacing with medical center personnel.

The role requires 6 months of experience (6 months accepted for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state PT licensure; new grads are encouraged to apply. Travel status and 40 hours per week are specified.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS and state-specific PT licensing required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; good knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations.
• Supervise PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within setting guidelines and maintain accurate documentation.
• Communicate with physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Operate within state PT board rules and regulations.
