Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Longview, Texas. The role requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (or a PT Bachelor’s with NPTE) and a current state license, with CPR certification.

Expect 40 hours per week, days shift, and travel logistics arranged by the agency. We offer weekly pay, housing or housing allowance, health insurance for you and your family, and a comprehensive benefits package including credentialing fee

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or in process for licensure
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care
• Establish and administer treatment programs with goals aligned to patient capacity
• Document patient condition and progress, educate patients and families
• Develop care plans and provide skilled PT services per physician orders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals
