Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a Physical Therapist for a 26-week travel assignment in Tacoma, WA. You’ll evaluate and treat patients, develop personalized plans, and work with a clinical team to optimize recovery in hospital, clinic, or rehab settings.

The ideal candidate holds a PT license, BLS, and may have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. New grads are welcome; travel benefits and day-one insurance are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).
• PT experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement rehabilitation plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and ensure proper maintenance/calibration.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and injury prevention.
• Maintain safe treatment environment per infection control standards.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth transitions.
