Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Holyoke, MA. The position offers 30 hours per week, days shift, and requires current state licensure and BLS. Prior PT experience is preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.

A supportive team and travel-friendly environment are offered. The PT will supervise PTAs and staff, document within facility guidelines, and develop and modify plans of care while adhering to board rules and insurance

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience; new grads may apply.
• BLS certification and state licensure are required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and understand anatomy/physiology/medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the facility following guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with PT board rules and state regulations.
• Interface with medical staff to ensure team-based plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/create plan of care.
• Modify plan of care based on patient condition.
• Use facility computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely documentation per guidelines.
