Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in South Hadley, Massachusetts. The PT will deliver comprehensive patient care in acute care settings, with a 40-hour work week and 8-hour day shifts.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional backgrounds) and holds current BLS and state licensure. The role requires collaboration with physicians and supervision of therapy staff, with familiarity of documentation and

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care and discharge planning.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and therapy staff.
• Proficient in documenting plans of care and progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision of PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill and code appropriately within settings.
• Ensure compliance with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with medical center personnel to coordinate plans of care.
• Evaluate patients and create/modify plans of care.
• Utilize hospital information systems for daily tasks and documentation.
