Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Evergreen, Colorado. The PT will evaluate and treat diverse patient populations in the acute care setting and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of experience (1 year preferred). A BLS certification and state licensing are required. This 13-week travel role offers 40 hours per week with day shifts and potential for tax-free stipends.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing are required.
• PTs should be able to stand/walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-based plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as indicated by patient condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state and/or insurance guidelines.
