Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in New Hampton, Iowa. The role requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with NPTE, plus state licensure and CPR certification. Expect 40 hours per week, with 10-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and collaboration with the care team to meet goals. Housing options and travel support are provided by the agency.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and NPTE passed.
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year of experience; current state license or in process; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients for rehabilitation services and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals based on patient capacity and tolerance.
• Set realistic goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
