Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility in Cape May, New Jersey. The 13-week contract runs from 11/02/2026 with 35 guaranteed hours per week, typically 08:00 to 16:30, five days a week, in a geriatric rehabilitation setting.

Weekly pay ranges from $2,078 to $2,183, with 24/7 recruiter and travel support. Fast credentialing and extension opportunities are available. Final compensation will be discussed during hiring.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible NJ Physical Therapist license.
• Graduation from an accredited PT program (DPT or equivalent).
• Experience in skilled nursing facility or geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Able to work 35 hours per week in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive PT evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans for residents.
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions focused on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes for each resident.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care and support discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and home programs.
• Comply with facility policies, regulations, and charting requirements while maintaining high standards of patient care.
