Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Dover, Delaware. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and execute plans of care, and collaborate with the medical team in an acute care setting.

Requirements include 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state licensure. Travel duties include supervising PTAs, documentation, and adherence to board regulations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in acute care settings.
• BLS certification.
• State-specific physical therapy licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care for various populations in acute care.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff as needed.
• Billing within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Adhere to PT board rules and pass state regulations.
• Document timely and accurate care using center systems.
