Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Franklinton, North Carolina. The position is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts in an acute care setting.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of PT experience, or 6 months for an exceptional candidate, and must hold current BLS and active state licensure. You will evaluate patients, develop and execute plans of care, and collaborate with medical center staff.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• PTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the setting and follow facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center staff and physicians for a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and modify the plan of care as patient condition dictates.
• Document accurately per state and insurance guidelines.
