Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Davidson, North Carolina. The PT will provide evaluation, planning and implementation of care for acute care patients, working 40 hours per week in daytime shifts.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates) and holds BLS and an active state license. Responsibilities include supervising PTAs, documenting care and coordinating with medical center

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience required; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• BLS and active state licensure required.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy and physiology helpful.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff
• Bill within the facility following guidelines
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for team-based care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines
