Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Elma, Washington. You’ll join a dedicated clinical team delivering patient-centered care in hospitals, clinics, and rehab settings.

The role focuses on evaluating and treating mobility impairments using evidence-based methods, coordinating with physicians and staff, and ensuring safe, high-quality care while supporting patient independence.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred
• Experience in PT preferred; new grads welcome
• Other licenses may be required for the position

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on goals
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate PT equipment safely and calibrate devices as needed
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise and safety
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to infection control
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth transitions
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
