Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Indio, CA. You will assess patients, create personalized rehab plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to restore mobility and reduce pain.

The role requires state licensure, BLS, and strong clinical skills; new grads welcome. Benefits start day one, including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) with support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and related credentials.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine functional limitations and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs.
• Deliver evidence-based PT treatments to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and maintain devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes clearly.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize results.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Maintain infection control and safe treatment environment.
• Participate in quality assurance and professional development.
• Assist in discharge planning for community or home care.
