Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Bowling Green, VA. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve mobility and reduce pain in various settings, with collaborative care and patient education.

The position requires a Virginia PT license, BLS certification, and the ability to work 40 hours weekly on 8-hour day shifts. New grads welcome; a doctorate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate in physical therapy preferred.
• PT experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management techniques.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control protocols.
• Assist with discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.
