Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Columbus, MT. The PT will evaluate, plan, and execute patient care in acute care, supervising PTA staff and coordinating with physicians. Prior licensed BLS-certified candidates with at least 6 months experience are preferred; new grads welcome with appropriate background.

40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts. Candidates must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and have solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical

Qualifications

• Must have BLS certification and state-specific licensing.
• 6 months of experience required; 1 year preferred; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be accepted.
• Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for patients in the acute care setting.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines and state requirements.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Use medical center computer systems and document following state/insurance guidelines.
