Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Apple Valley, CA. Start date 10/20/2026. Expect 40 hours/week, 8-hour days, and comprehensive benefits.

The role involves evaluating patients, developing personalized plans, and coordinating care with a clinical team across hospital and rehabilitation settings. The ideal candidate holds a valid CA PT license and a current BLS certification, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in California
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests and patient history.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate physical therapy equipment safely and effectively and maintain devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain infection control and regulatory standards.
• Engage in professional development and quality assurance initiatives.
• Support in discharge planning for smooth transitions.
