Job summary

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Gainesville, FL. This acute care role offers full-time hours within a collaborative rehab team, treating an adult inpatient population and supporting mobility, gait, and function during hospitalization.

You will evaluate, plan, and implement PT interventions, coordinate with the care team, and provide education for safe discharge and home exercise programs. Florida licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Florida PT license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Acute care or hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for hospitalized patients.
• Treat orthopedic, neurological, medical, surgical, and cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Provide gait training, transfer training, balance activities, therapeutic exercise and functional mobility interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, case management and rehab colleagues.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe mobility and discharge planning.
• Complete timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
