Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for an immediate travel assignment in Fort Wayne, IN. The PT will evaluate, plan, and implement care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting, with 40 hours/week, 8-hour days, and a 13-week duration.

Requirements include 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state licensure. Travel experience and medical terminology knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of PT experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• BLS certification and active state licensure are required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for patients in the acute care setting.
• OverseePTAs and support staff; coordinate with physicians and other professionals.
• Document timely and accurate notes following state and insurance guidelines.
• Perform routine PT assessments and modify care plans as patient conditions change.
• Utilize hospital information systems to manage patient data and care delivery.
