Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment in Chico, California. The PT will work 40 hours per week, days shift, with travel employment status.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered and must possess BLS and a state license. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing care plans, supervising PTAs, billing per facility protocols, and coordinating with

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; 1 year preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Active state Physical Therapy license.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; solid knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.
• Supervise PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the facility following guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center staff to ensure team-based care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and modify plans as needed.
• Document timely per state and insurance guidelines.
