Job summary

TotalMed Allied is actively seeking a travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment in Turlock, CA. The role focuses on evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for varied patient populations in an acute care setting.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of PT experience (6 months accepted for exceptional cases) and must have BLS and CA licensure. Responsibilities include supervising staff, charting, and collaboration with medical teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold active physical therapy license (CA).
• BLS required; 1 year of experience required, 6 months possible for exceptional cases.
• Ability to stand/walk long periods; knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with Medical Center staff and physicians on the plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment used with patients.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care for patients.
• Modify plan based on patient condition.
• Document accurately per state/insurer guidelines.
