Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The role requires 40 hours per week, days shift, and an 8-hour shift schedule.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of PT experience, BLS certification, and valid state licensing. You will evaluate patients, develop a plan of care, supervise therapy staff, and coordinate with the Medical Center team to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines.
• Understand PT board rules and state regulations and comply accordingly.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for team-based plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care and modify as needed.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state/insurance guidelines.
