Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for an immediate travel opening in Tallahassee, FL. The PT will evaluate patients, develop a plan of care, and execute treatment plans in an acute care setting.

Requirements include 1 year of experience (6 months for exceptional cases), BLS, and state-specific PT licensing. Expect supervising PTAs, patient care documentation, and collaboration with medical staff. Travel role, 40 hours weekly, 8-hour shifts, days.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience preferred; exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered (6 months occasionally accepted).
• Must have BLS and state-specific PT licensing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations.
• Oversee PTAs and therapy support staff; collaborate with physicians.
• Bill within the facility following guidelines; document per state/insurance rules.
• Engage with Medical Center staff to ensure team-based plan of care.
• Utilize adaptive equipment and hospital computer systems.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation in line with guidelines.
