Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Montgomery, AL, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour days. The role emphasizes patient mobility, pain reduction, and evidence-based plans across hospital and clinic settings.

The ideal candidate holds a PT license, is eligible for BLS, and may have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. New grads are welcome; benefits include comprehensive coverage and a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
• Physical Therapy experience; New Grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify functional needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate physical therapy equipment safely and calibrate devices as needed.
• Assess progress, adjust plans, and document outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise and safety.
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control and safety guidelines.
• Engage in QA and professional development to stay current with best practices.
• Participate in discharge planning for smooth transitions to home or community care.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
