Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in New Albany, Indiana. This travel role offers 40 hours per week, with 8-hour daytime shifts, and the chance to impact patient mobility and function in diverse settings.

You will hold a valid Physical Therapy license, BLS certification, and be prepared to work with a multidisciplinary team across hospitals and clinics. Travel stipends and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and maintain devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
