Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in O'Fallon, Illinois. This position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, and start ASAP in a hospital, clinic, or rehab setting. You’ll evaluate, treat, and educate patients while collaborating with a clinical team.

The ideal candidate holds a valid PT license and BLS certification; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. New grads are welcome to apply and licensure reimbursement may be provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
• New grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment safely and effectively.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain infection control and a safe treatment environment.
• Contribute to discharge planning and patient progress in various settings.
