Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Holyoke, MA seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment, 30 hours per week, days shift. Immediate opening; requires 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates) and BLS plus state licensure.

You will oversee PTAs, document care, bill per guidelines, coordinate with Medical Center staff, and develop and modify plans of care. Travel therapists must be able to stand for long periods and have strong knowledge of anatomy and

• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• 1 year of PT experience; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines.
• Understand the PT board's rules and regulations and comply with state requirements.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to plan care.
• Understand adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems daily.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines.
