Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The role requires a PT license, BLS, and the ability to work 40 hours per week with 10-hour days.

The PT will evaluate, develop, and execute plans of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting, coordinating with the Medical Center team and supervising PTAs and support staff as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience required; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• BLS certification and state license required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care for diverse populations.
• Manage and supervise PTAs and therapy staff.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress per state guidelines.
• Coordinate with Medical Center personnel to ensure a team-based plan of care.
