Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Ogallala, NE. The role is 40 hours per week, dayshift, with supervision of PTAs and collaboration with center staff to deliver comprehensive plans of care.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred) and hold a BLS certification with state licensure. This travel position emphasizes documentation accuracy and adherence to all state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have at least 6 months of PT experience; new grads welcome.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensure required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform bending/stooping.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
