Job Summary

The organization is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a position located at a healthcare facility. This role involves evaluating assigned patients, implementing and documenting nursing care, assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, and performing various tests and medication administration within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. The position requires adaptability to float between different departments within the facility network.

Job Details

• Position Description: PCU/Tele RN's evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
• Required Qualifications: AZ license, BLS, ACLS, 2+ years of experience, familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records, experience handling cardiac drips, TAVRs, and watchmen mitro clips, associate's degree or higher in nursing (preferably a bachelor's degree), bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: This is a float pool position, so float rotation may be required. The candidate should be willing to float between the primary facility and three additional facilities within the network.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be able to start on 11/16/2026 and work until 02/15/2027.
