Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio, requiring an OH or compact RN license and strong PCU/med-surg background.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Progressive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Rotating weeknights, weekends, and holidays are required
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 19:00 to 07:30
• Travelers must float to different units within the organization as needed
• Epic EMR is used and Epic experience is required
• Med-surg nurses will be considered if PCU experience is present
• Responsibilities include caring for PCU patients and adapting to various units as needed
• All candidates must complete fingerprinting as soon as possible after contract signing per Ohio regulations
• RTO (requested time off) must be disclosed at the time of application and built into the contract
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Former employees are eligible after a 6-month gap; current employees at Ohio State University hospitals are ineligible as travelers
• Rotating holiday coverage is required

Requirements
